Digital Campus: University to switch from Shibboleth login to Microsoft Entra ID on 28 October
In preparation for multi-factor authentication, the Shibboleth login will be switched to a Microsoft Entra ID login on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.

In the new login screen, you will need to enter your full user ID in the format ZIM-username@ads.uni-passau.de.
This applies to all university services that are currently connected via Shibboleth, such as Stud.IP, Ilias and ZIMI.Shibboleth
The new Shibboleth login screen will take on the look of Microsoft Office 365 login screens. You can find detailed information with screenshots in the help portal.
