E-learning and media

Promotional films, learning videos, MOOC videos or other formats are of great interest and high relevance for universities. Make recordings for or with your students using professional media technology in the studio rooms of the ZIM or use the Loan service to borrow media equipment for your own productions.

Hold discussions with experts in your field, conclude your seminar with a live broadcast, or produce sustainable and professional video content for your lecture. Experienced specialists will assist you with your project.

The Media Education Advisory Service maintains close contact with other institutions and teachers on campus and beyond. The aim of this network is to facilitate mutual professional exchange in order to offer you the best possible support for your plans and projects.

Many lecturers at the University of Passau already have some experience in E-learning. For example, by compiling and supervising a vhb course, creating learning videos or deploying live voting in the lecture theatre. The network members can profit from the experience and ideas of others.

The "Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb)" is a joint institution of Bavarian universities. It provides online courses as a supplement to classroom-based studies, which have been developed by lecturers at the participating universities. The University of Passau is one of the participating universities in the vhb.

The info platform 'e-learning compass' is designed for lecturers of the University of Passau and offers suggestions and examples for the deployment of new media in teaching.
